Clay Pot Workshop

Gelli Print Workshop



Using air-dried clay, participants will learn how to make a slab pot and a thumb pot, how to create slip, and how to attach decorations so that they stay attached when dry. Once dried ( at least 48 hours later), participants can paint and varnish their creations to take home.
Use air dry clay to learn how to create a 3D monster, or any kind of head, learn how to create slip clay, and how to add noses eyes and ears through the cross hatching method. Once dried ( at least 48 hours later) heads can be painted and taken home
Use mono printing techniques using Gelli printing plates, Learn how to create texture and stencils. Take away printed gelli cards or a Gelli Print image to hang on the wall.

Participants will learn the basics of stencil screen printing from start to finish. They will make their own stencils, learn how to fix them to silk screens and create a finished set of original 3-layer prints.
Participants will learn how to use stop-motion animation software and discover the world of animation by creating short stop-motion films. They will also learn story telling, character design, and basic animation techniques. This can be themed around a specific subject that fits your organisation’s needs.
Participants will explore reduction print techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints. They will experiment with colours, textures, and layering to produce unique artworks using safe and child-friendly materials.
Pop Up Cards
Zine Making Workshop


Participants will learn the art of creating a pop-up card, incorporating basic paper engineering skills into creative design. Participants will leave with a range of pop up cards to take home.
Participants will create their own zines, exploring themes of identity, interests and storytelling. This workshop encourages self-expression and introduces participants to basic self-publishing skills.
